Job reference: 935685
Location: 5092 - MODBURY
Job status: Ongoing
Eligibility: Open to Everyone

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is available to join the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as an Administration Support Officer, supporting the Northern Older Persons Mental Health Community Team. This is a role where your organisational skills and attention to detail will directly contribute to the delivery of essential community‑based mental health services.

Reporting to the Administrative Services Co‑ordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring administrative operations run smoothly, efficiently and with the highest level of confidentiality. As the first point of contact for clients and stakeholders, you will provide a welcoming, responsive and professional service that supports both consumers and clinicians.

Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include maintaining accurate client records, scheduling and coordinating appointments, answering and managing telephone enquiries, and liaising effectively with clinicians, members of the public and external service partners. To support this work, you will confidently utilise a range of systems including CBIS, Q‑Master, the Transcription Module and the Microsoft Office Suite, ensuring information is managed accurately and in a timely manner.

About You:

In this role you will bring proven experience in administrative support and customer service, ideally gained within a fast‑paced, complex or sensitive environment. You are highly organised, self‑motivated and able to work with minimal supervision, prioritising tasks and meeting competing deadlines with confidence.

Your strong communication skills allow you to engage respectfully and effectively with people at all levels, including clients who may be distressed or navigating challenging circumstances. You demonstrate discretion, empathy and professionalism at all times, underpinned by a strong commitment to confidentiality.

Technically adept, you are confident working across Windows‑based systems and the Microsoft Office Suite, with skills in data entry, word processing, and the creation and maintenance of complex spreadsheets and databases. Adaptable and calm under pressure, you enjoy working collaboratively, willingly sharing information and contributing to a positive, supportive team environment.

If you’re ready to bring your skills to a role where your work genuinely makes a difference, we encourage you to apply.
