Overview: To provide specialist medical and strategic advice on infectious disease prevention, surveillance, and control, and outbreak management, to contribute effectively to teaching/training, research and epidemiology and evaluation; and to advise departmental Executive, Health Chief Executives Council (HCEC), the Minister and government, with a focus on tuberculosis. To represent CDCB and PHD on DHW and State committees and South Australia at national meetings on infectious diseases prevention, surveillance, and control, and outbreak management.
