About the role Student
Support Services works with schools and preschool to provide
support to assist them in meeting the needs of all children. The
role requires the incumbent to participate in the implementation of
a service model that supports the provision of integrated and
targeted services to meet the needs of children and young people
with additional needs. The Speech Pathologist is a member of a multi-disciplinary team and works with children and young people with speech, language and/or communication issues and their families. The Speech Pathologist works closely with the Senior Speech Pathologists, speech pathology colleagues, preschool and school staff, and families to develop evidence-based speech, language and communication interventions that include proactive, targeted and intensive strategies that can be adapted for learning and home contexts. This position works under the direct professional support of the Senior Speech Pathologist. Requirements
Special conditions The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years. Remuneration AHP1 $73,710 - $89,981 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation (12%) AHP2 $94,997 - $110,052 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation (12%)

Hours and FTE are negotiable. Position/s to be based at either Kadina or Port Pirie. A Drive In/Drive Out model may be considered for the right candidate.
