organisations, dedicated to transforming how the arts are created,
shared, and experienced across regional communities. We deliver
high-quality arts programs and entertainment throughout regional
South Australia and support regional artists to
develop their creative practice.
Role Highlights
- Lead and manage Board and Committee processes, including
preparing agendas, recording minutes, and tracking
outcomes.
- Drive key organisational priorities alongside the Chief
Executive and Leadership Team, including delivery of Strategic
and Business Plans, RAP, Equity Plan, and Care for Country
Plan
- Oversee governance and compliance, including policy
development, reviews, and management of agreements and
reporting requirements
- Provide high-level executive support to the Chief
Executive, including diary management, issue prioritisation,
and preparation of briefings, reports, and correspondence
- Manage relationships with Government Departments,
Ministers, and key stakeholders, supporting public affairs and
external communications
- Lead and coordinate impact communications, ensuring
organisational achievements are effectively evaluated,
documented, and shared
Key Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated ability to prepare high-quality briefing
materials, reports and correspondence for senior executives and
governing bodies
- Proven experience supporting or managing Board and
Committee processes, including governance documentation and
follow-up actions
- Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures and
legislative requirements in a practical organisational
context
- Strong capability to build and maintain productive working
relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Experience coordinating cross-functional projects and
strategic initiatives in a complex environment
- Demonstrated ability to identify risks, issues and
opportunities, and provide sound recommendations
- High level of professional judgement and problem-solving
skills, particularly in ambiguous or sensitive situations
- Experience in monitoring, evaluation and reporting to
support organisational performance and impact
- Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to
write clearly and concisely and handle sensitive, political and
confidential matters with discretion.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion
principles, including understanding of cultural
considerations
- Experience managing competing priorities and stakeholder
expectations in a dynamic environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity when
dealing with sensitive organisational matters
- Understanding of risk management and audit processes within
a governance framework
Special Conditions
- Regular out of hours work including weekends will be
required.
- Occasional intrastate/interstate travel may be
required.
- Hold a current Australian Driver’s License.
- Required to participate in the Country Art’s Staff
Development Review Process and achieve performance targets as
negotiated and mutually agreed with the manager.
Further Role Details
- Full-time 76 hours per fortnight
- Fixed-Term Contract - 24 Months
