Conditions for Learning (CfL) is an outward facing directorate within the Schools and Preschools Division with its core business to support sites to achieve optimum conditions for learning so they can focus on teaching and learning. The directorate works in close collaboration with a range of divisions and system leaders to support schools and preschools. What does
CfL do? The Lead, Projects and Policy provides high level support to the Manager, Policy and Strategy, and Conditions for Learning directorate leaders through successfully leading and delivering strategic projects and programs. The Lead, Projects and Policy provides high-level advice, issue analysis, policy development and research. The role is responsible for quality assuring briefings and responses to ministerial and executive correspondence prepared by the directorate, as well as drafting high-level, complex, and urgent briefings and correspondence to support informed executive decision-making.
Essential: Nil Desirable: A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent vocational experience and knowledge
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years. ASO8 $125,649 - $130,392 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading
