About the Role:
The Team Leader Water Projects is responsible for
providing high level leadership, strategic direction and
professional input to develop and deliver Green Adelaide’s water
management programs and projects. The Team Leader Water
Projects manages and supports a team of professionals to provide
guidance, coordination and advice for water assessments,
investigations and project development, whilst ensuring appropriate
collaboration and communication within and external to Government
is achieved. The role supports the Green Adelaide Board, refer
Green Adelaide.

Contract: Temporary Backfill Contract for up to
12 months
Essential Qualifications : A degree in
Engineering, Science or Natural Resource Management and relevant
higher qualification(s) or extensive relevant discipline experience
is essential.
Special Conditions:
- May be required to participate in responses to state
emergencies or associated duties.
- You must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or
provide evidence that you hold a valid working visa that allows
you to work in Australia without restrictions.
- Prior to being employed, the successful candidate will be
required to provide a valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal
History Check (NCCHC), which is required to be renewed every
three years. DEW will cover the cost of renewal.
- Current Class C driver’s licence, and a willingness to
drive, is essential.
- May be required to work outside of the normal hours of
work.
A successful applicant who is not currently employed by the
Department for Environment and Water will be required to have an
original photo identification document sighted and provide a
valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) issued
within the last 12 months.
Remuneration: PO4 ($118,601 min - $129,116 max)
