About the Role
Be the friendly first point of contact at a busy hospital switchboard. You'll manage calls, create clear connections and keep information flowing, ensuring every enquiry is handled with care, accuracy and professionalism.
- Answer calls and manage switchboard enquiries
- Direct calls and provide clear, timely information
- Initiate paging and respond to emergency calls
- Record and relay accurate messages
- Welcome visitors and assist at enquiries desk
- Build strong links with staff and stakeholders
- Maintain privacy and follow set procedures
- Support smooth daily admin operations
About You
You're a calm, customer focused professional who communicates clearly and keeps things running smoothly. You handle busy environments with ease, stay organised and deliver a reliable, high quality service every time.
- Strong customer service and clear communication skills
- Stay calm, resolve issues and de escalate situations
- Organise tasks, prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Use admin systems and follow set procedures
