Service: Community Mental Health Team Our Community Mental Health Teams, based in Port Augusta and Whyalla, provide specialised care to promote mental, emotional, physical, and social wellbeing. Services include one-to-one counselling, group programs, care coordination, and health promotion activities designed to support adults, families, and carers affected by mental health challenges. We offer information, education, counselling, and ongoing support, with specialist clinicians for youth mental health and access to older persons mental health services. About the Role: As a Social Worker, you will deliver a comprehensive and integrated range of services tailored to the needs of consumers within the Local Health Network Mental Health service and the wider community. Working under reduced clinical direction, you may also contribute to the clinical supervision of less experienced allied health professionals, assistants and students. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will utilise a combination of preventative, early intervention, therapeutic and evaluative approaches, including individual and family therapies and group programs.
