Job reference: 843363 Location: 5000 - ADELAIDE Job status: Long Term Contract Eligibility: Open to Everyone An excellent opportunity is available for a highly organised and service‑focused professional to join the Parliamentary Network Services Group (PNSG) as a Business Support Officer (ASO4) at the Parliament of South Australia. This temporary, part‑time role (up to 0.8 FTE) reports to the Team Leader, Client Services until 5 December 2026 and is integral to supporting the effective operation of Parliamentary ICT services through high‑quality administrative, financial and governance support. About the Role The Business Support Officer provides comprehensive business and administrative support within a parliamentary ICT environment on a part‑time basis. The role supports day‑to‑day operational service delivery by coordinating financial and procurement processes, maintaining ICT asset and operational records, and providing governance support to the Parliament of South Australia's ICT Governance Committee. Working closely with PNSG management, internal stakeholders and external service providers, the role contributes to strong governance, sound financial management and a high standard of customer‑focused service delivery. This position plays an important role in enabling efficient, accountable and responsive ICT services that support Members of Parliament and the broader Parliamentary community. About You You are a capable and detail‑oriented professional with demonstrated experience providing high‑level administrative or business support in a complex operational or technical environment. You will bring strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, maintain confidentiality, and work effectively with minimal supervision in a part‑time capacity. You will have experience supporting governance processes, including committee coordination and minute‑taking, along with experience in financial and procurement administration. Your ability to build productive working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, provide professional customer service, and contribute to continuous improvement will be key to your success in this role. Relevant qualifications in business, information technology, information security, or a related discipline will be well regarded.
