  • Salary: $123,048 to $133,957 (Pro-Rata) - AHP4 - Part Time 0.8 FTE / Term Contract up to 12 Months

Overview:

Provides strategic advice and project management across a range of allied and scientific health services which encompass building capacity and providing professional advice on allied health and scientific issues across government, non-government, tertiary and private health sectors at a statewide level.  The incumbent will contribute to:

  • professional practice including development of a best practice approach to allied and scientific health services;
  • workforce management issues;
  • training and development;
  • policy development and implementation; and
  • research and clinical information and management systems.

The position requires liaison with senior clinical staff and key personnel across the system as well as within the Department for Health and Wellbeing.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

  • A 'National Police Certificate' NPC (also known as a 'Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check' NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment).

Immunisation Risk for this position is C (minimal patient contact).

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.

Special Conditions

  • An appropriate tertiary qualification that entitles the incumbent to membership of an allied health professional association and/or Board.
  • The incumbent may be required to participate in Counter Disaster activities including attendance, as required, at training programs and exercises to develop the necessary skills required to participate in responses in the event of a disaster and/or major incident.
