Rural Support Service - Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network Salary: Salary: AHP4 $118,887 to $129,427 p.a. Full-time or Part-time, Temporary – up to 29 August 2026
WHAT ARE WE OFFERING? Lead the development and delivery of high-quality subacute services across regional Local Health Networks as the Senior Program Manager – Subacute. In this strategic clinical leadership role, you will drive service innovation across rehabilitation, restorative care and palliative care programs, support workforce capability, and ensure best practice models of care aligned to state-wide priorities and clinical governance standards.
WHO ARE WE? The Rural Support Service is a central SA Health business unit that provides shared clinical and corporate support to all six regional Local Health Networks across SA Health.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We are seeking an experienced and values-driven clinical leader with strong professional credentials and extensive experience across diverse practice settings, including rural and remote environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proven leadership in service development, project management, and clinical governance, alongside the ability to mentor and develop staff. You will bring a strong commitment to primary health care principles, community engagement, and culturally safe, person-centred practice, supported by excellent communication, teamwork, and stakeholder engagement skills. A track record in continuous improvement, research, and evaluation, combined with sound administrative, data, and resource management capability, will position you to drive high-quality, innovative service outcomes.
