The Opportunity

The Campus Logistics Officer is accountable to the Campus Logistics Cluster Lead to provide support for effective and efficient Asset, Facilities and Logistics management across a range of nominated campuses and/or sites. The role is responsible for operational and administrative support, ensuring the smooth delivery of campus services. Working under limited supervision, you will perform a variety of tasks, from maintaining facilities to assisting with fleet operations, event set-ups, and inventory management. Activities include:

  • Provide operational support across TAFE SA campuses to achieve business objectives.
  • Undertake minor handyperson maintenance, cleaning, and grounds duties.
  • Deliver administrative support, including using financial systems (e.g. MyService portal, Card Manager, Basware).
  • Assist with asset and salvage management activities.
  • Contribute to fleet management and oversee inventory, storage, receiving and distribution.
  • Collaborate with educational staff, students, industry representatives, and other stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in managing operational logistics and balancing supply with demand in a complex environment.
  • Practical experience in inventory management, purchasing, warehousing, and salvage activities.
  • Strong customer service skills, particularly in campus operations and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in using computers and software applications such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge and application of workplace health and safety legislation, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Current Australian driver’s licence.

What You Need to Know

A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
