About the role

The Fatherhood Project Allyship Lead works in partnership to design, deliver, and evaluate initiatives that strengthen father engagement across CaFHS. The lead will drive evidence-based, equitable, father-inclusive practice and support high-quality program delivery and improved family outcomes.

Key duties of the role

  • Establish the scope, deliverables, timeframes, and desired outcomes for each component of the project
  • Research and analyse current trends and prepare associated documentation containing culturally appropriate options and recommendations
  • Prepare and contribute to the development of reports, project briefs, and project plans
  • Monitor performance against the project plan outcomes
  • Identify, prioritise, and forward plan projects in alignment with organisational directions, values, and plans.
  • Bring together multi-disciplinary staff of different disciplines and educating the group on how to formulate and agree on effective project management principles.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team environment and independently under limited direction to plan, organise, and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise, consult, and engage in a culturally sensitive manner with staff, communities, individuals, and agencies.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proven experience in developing and planning complex and significant project work to achieve outcomes promptly.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of project planning and management.
