The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Digital Services Officer to be part of our Industry, Strategy and Partnerships Division within the Department of Primary Industries and Regions.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Digital Services Officer you will:

• Develop, coordinate, review, edit and publish content across PIRSA websites, intranet and digital channels to ensure information is accurate, relevant and user focused.
• Provide advice on digital communications requirements, website publishing and content optimisation to support effective communication outcomes.
• Collaborate with ICT, developers and stakeholders across the agency to deliver digital services and products in a timely manner.
• Ensure content is optimised, engages target audiences, meets user needs and complies with web accessibility requirements and digital style guidelines.
• Contribute to website redevelopment projects, web strategy initiatives and continuous improvement activities that enhance PIRSA's digital presence.

About You

You will bring:

• Experience in web publishing, digital content creation or communications.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with an understanding of writing for digital audiences.
• Knowledge of web accessibility requirements, content design principles and information architecture.
• Experience using content management systems, with knowledge of Squiz Matrix highly regarded.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities, build strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to team outcomes.
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement and enhancing the user experience across digital platforms.

Special Conditions

• Successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a National Police Check (NPC) prior to being made an offer of employment.
• Australian residency or current work permit is required (responsibility of applicant to provide evidence of a current work permit)
• Opportunity up to 30 June 2027.
• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.

Requirements

• You acknowledge your work, health and safety obligations and our expectations
• The incumbent will be required to undertake emergency management training and must be willing to participate in emergency preparedness, response and recovery activities required by government agencies

Remuneration

ASO5 - $92,122 min - $102,456 max per annum, plus superannuation
