Help Shape the Quality of Australia's Seed
Industry
Seed Services Australia (SSA) supports seed growers, processors
and marketers across Australia through trusted seed certification
and quality assurance services. As a Seed Certification Officer,
you will play an important role in maintaining the integrity of
seed production systems that underpin agricultural productivity,
industry confidence and market access.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will coordinate
certification programs across southeast South Australia and western
Victoria, working closely with growers, processors and inspectors
to ensure crops meet industry standards. Through technical
expertise, stakeholder engagement and quality assurance activities,
your work will support the delivery of high-quality seed to
Australian and international markets.

- Conduct/coordinate crop inspections and auditing activities
across the region.
- Provide technical advice, training and quality assurance
expertise.

Special Conditions
- Successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily
complete a National Police Check (NPC) prior to being made an
offer of employment.
- Australian residency or current work permit is required
(responsibility of applicant to provide evidence of a current
work permit).
- Opportunity up to September 2028.
- Full time opportunity, 37.5 hours per week.
Requirements
- Possession of a current ‘CR’ driver’s license (car and
motorcycle) and a willingness to drive.
- Out of hours work and inter / intrastate travel may be
required.
- You acknowledge your work, health and safety obligations
and our expectations when applying for a role.
- The incumbent will be required to undertake emergency
management training and must be willing to participate in
emergency preparedness, response and recovery activities
required by government agencies.
Remuneration
OPS3 - $74,095 min - $78,694
max per annum, plus superannuation
