Within DTF, Shared Services SA helps keep government moving. We deliver essential business and finance services across areas of payroll, accounts payable and receivable, tax and financial accounting, and business systems which enable government agencies to focus on serving the community. About the role: 

You’ll join a government team that provides essential support to the people keeping our state running, from health workers to administrative staff and suppliers.  

Here's what the role can look like depending on where you're placed: 

  • High volume Data entry roles with a strong focus on accuracy and eye for detail. 
  • Finance focused roles dealing with invoices from vendors, payroll related processing and debt collection. 
  • Tax specialist roles supporting a broad range of general accounting support services, collating and analysing tax information and preparing reports. 
  • Supportive service desks answering questions, offering advice, or redirecting queries for resolution. 

About you:

Listed below are the types of entry level roles available:

  • Payroll Officer - Adelaide CBD location 
  • Taxation Officer - Port Adelaide location 
  • Accounts Payable or Receivable Officer (AP/AR) - Port Adelaide location 

 About our recruitment process: 

  • Apply once to join a 12-month talent pool. 
  • If shortlisted, you will be invited to an Assessment Centre, where you will participate in a behavioural interview and various skills tests.  
  • Successful candidates move to reference / screening checks and 
  • As roles become available, offers of employment will be made.

Special Conditions: 

  • Successful applicants must obtain a SAPOL clearance or General Employment Probity Check. 
  • Shared Services SA covers all screening costs. 
  • All applicants must hold current Australian work eligibility (more than 6 months validity if you are on a Visa).
